Quiksilver Foundation has support 4 ASD Kids Charity since 2009. The 4 ASD Kids Weekend is a charity event unlike any other, bringing together sponsors, corporate guests, supporters and a host of celebrities for a full weekend of events to raise funds to support families with autistic children. In 2011 Quiksilver Foundation was a proud supporter of the weekend helping 4 ASD Kids raise $240,000.
Australia Rugby player Mat Rogers and his wife Chloe made public in 2009 about their sons battle with autism. It’s something that they considered very deeply but felt by telling their story they may be able to assist families with similar challenges. After the initial publicity they were so overwhelmed by the messages of support and assistance that they formed their charity, 4 ASD Kids. Mat and Chloe's dream is to be able to change the lives of families with children battling with an Autism Spectrum Disorder by assisting them to access the early intervention treatment that they believe is critical to giving these kids the best chance at leading a normal life and reaching their full potential.
The Weekend events is one of the major fundraisers for 4 ASD Kids charity and includes events Mat Rogers Celebrity Golf Day, Quiksilver Foundation Beach Party, Chloe & Friends Ladies Brunch, Boy’s Big Day out on the Water, Gala Dinner and Christmas Concert.
