Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation, Gold Coast, Australia

At the recent Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast held at Snapper Rocks, the Quiksilver Foundation kindly handed over a cheque for $3,000 to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation.

The $3,000 was gratefully accepted and the money paid for the medication needs of the injured native wildlife treated at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital during the running of the Quiksliver Pro contest from the 25th February to the 4th March 2012.

The Currumbin Wildlife Hospital helps 100's of turtles and sea birds back to good health each year and is looking forward to working with the Quiksilver Foundation on an ongoing projects in the future.

Sadly, Australian native wildlife is seriously endangered. Adoptions and donations made by members of the community greatly help Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s vital conservation initiatives as well as support our future breeding and research programs. Contributions are be greatly appreciated and help enrich the lives of the animals at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. All donations over $2 are 100% tax deductable.
